Clayre's Pool Fence Fund

So anyone know of someone that drowned? A baby drowned? and child drowned? I will tell you a story one of that has to do with my myself.

When I was 9years old, and I was playing with my friend, she was younger than I. It was our first summer in las vegas. In the heat, 100 degress, we were playing with water buckets. We ran out of water. Running through the bushes around these houses. This one house had no gate around there pool. My friend thought it would be cool to go fill our water buckets up. Not! we did, while we did, she fell in. I had to jump to grab her. We jumped out and went home. My mother was there and was wondering why I was all wet. Awful me! I was not a good lier. Had to tell her. We went and told the neighbors. Boy was that a mistake! Grumpy man he was. my mothers mention maybe it was a good idea he stick a gate around a pool, all he had was bushes around the pool, it hid very well. my mom called the health dept. and a few weeks later we heard him pounded away with the gate.

My friend recently lost he first child, named Clarye. Just like any pool drowning accident, in can happen anytime. Her mother Brianna and her family had set up a foundation called "Clayre Foundation" or "Clayre Pool Fence Fund" Currently in Clark County older homes with pools built before 2003 are NOT REQUIRED TO BE EQUIPPED
WITH barriers or alarms. However, all new pools constructed since that time, do require the minimum of installation of a door alarm. One problem that we face, is that some families choose to disable their alarm because it is annoying and somewhat of a nuisance. Unfortunately, many innocent lives have already been lost this year,
and more will be lost without your help and support.

OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES!
We set up this foundation to try to prevent other families from going through the loss of their precious child.
