Hiking for the first time with our dog

Steve and I decided to go hiking with Mo. Well it was me, Ive been wanting to go hiking for awhile and with our dog. I love our dog and for the 20min up the way to the canyon he whined. It was interesting to him! the ride and all. When we got there and started the hike he was a happy dog. He got to experience his first time smelling, touching and seeing snow. Well patches of snow. We didnt expect to see it but it was there on our hike. Our first dog and going hiking was fun. Steve and I would take turns holding the leash. Everytime he see another dog he get excitied and so would the other dog. But it was hiking not dog play time! At the end it was worth it he got a nap in as well as myself on the way home. As far as Steve he drove....

Xmas Cards.....

Last year I had so much fun making christmas cards, i was going to do it again this year. Wrong! i have no time. I got a dog downstairs and can't come upstairs. Well thats not the excuse but still.... Cant spend too much time working on making 50cards or so. I got family, out of town family, co- workers and church people. thats alot right there. So today i went out gave out like 7. Tommorow 10more or so to go. Me and my little dog out christmas give away card door to door! how fun is that. i realized i forgot a few church people. I have to get a few more cards made up...uh oh! Along with that i have to make 10 scrapbook pages in 3days. That part should by easy I wish it didnt get dark that fast, but o'well. I will get my excercise in for sure. I found out a sister lived right in the neighborhood block, so cool! And another sister, how fun! Now if anything happend i know where to go because this area isnt that great. i hear gangs beat people up at night and all sorts of stuff. It sounds quiet but don't let it foool you.

Thanksgiving

Steve and I went to my dad place where my mom met up. Actually it was the other way around Steve met up there where mom and I cooked muffins, pototoes and other stuff. What a funny story to tell! I baked some cookies, had the recipe out and stuck it in the oven. I was sitting on the couch, relaxing when my mom said "the flour bag was never open" which was orignanlly supposed to go 'in' the cookies. haha! another batch gone, another cookie story to tell. I, Heidi can NOT bake cookies....Never have baked a good batch. One day will. Steve laughed his head off and told all the cookie stories ever, I made. Forgot this, forgot that. Haha! So im learning. And I tried. On the day.... Steve's parents showed up had a great meal, Love the muffins! Watched Santa Clause 2. Im very thankful for the family I have and who I see, talk too, over states, and in heaven. I love them!

Were all sick....

Its almost thanksgiving, its about family, and sore throats, medicine and the tissies are around. I was going to visit my grandpa at saturday and have him meet my husband but Steve just caught my cold, and he has the flu today, and plus my grandpa has been going to the bathroom every 2 hours, and thats not good. I hope My grandpa is healthy. We were supposed to go and check the 2010 cars for the fun of it. My work gave them out for free. It sounded fun to do but health is way more important. I got my cold last tuesday and boy oh boy, talk about sneezing all night, i hated it! thankgoodness i was off on that wednesday, the next day. And then today, still hitting the tissues. ugh! My nose is very sensitive one.

My Biggest Dream

The first i have watch the show 'adoption stories' when i was i high school. i absolutely fell in love with the idea of adopting a child. i recently looked up how much it had cost to adopt a child, and wow it is expensive 10,000 dollars and more. adopting a a child with disablities is lower in cost, but who? Maybe a MR child. i will never giveup this dream. but at the same time it may never happen. my husband doesnt like the idea. So many children need a home.

Missing My Digital Camera

My dog Mo cracked my digital camera. I accidently left it low for him to get too. not on purpose He is my first dog but still I he shouldn't of got my camera. I want to take some cute pictures of him yesterday. I got to get one soon for thanksgiving and Christmas. I love my family! husbands family! I managed to use a snap camera. Which i have no idea how it turned out? hopefully good.

What going on....

Whats going on? well Mo is doing really with leash training (sorta)and so i slacked with it. I did it for 2 weeks. and stopped for a month. and I am back to it. He isn't that bad but it would be nice for him to be better at it. I keep hoping to run into anothe rhodesian ridgeback at the dog park but i know all dogs that go to the dog park over here, uh. steve and i took a trip to new orleans and it was very fun! Saw a st. louis cementery, did ghost tour, a boat jazz dinner cruise, and almost got my purse stolen. This week my hubby starts his next semester of school. And then one more and then finished! hooray! family history is going to start to get serious here soon. Days are flying pass me and needs to get worked on. I need a bible, b of m study partner and church doesn't count because i cant ask a million questions. it helps if i read with someone/ a buddy, i can get thru a book faster, and learn stuff more. (im a slow learner) daylight savings time really stinks!

We adopted a dog named Mo...

Steve and I adopted a dog named Mo...He is adorable! He is 11months old and doing so well now. We have had him for a week now and or maybe week and a half. So smart and cute! He is a male, from petsmart. He is our first dog together. i take him to doggie parks. yesterday was his third time. he had lots of fun! he ran around with other dogs and talked/chewed another dog out. he follows me everywhere but thats the nature of a rhodesian rhodeback.

Living life....

So day by day i wake up go to work, lately there been playing Cinderella, cleaning the house there, which isn't bad to think of it. Needing money and all. Only one year to go till Steve graduates from his masters programs occcupation therapy, he has about a 3.6 average, which is great! Loving family history every day. Calling people like crazy and asking questions. Enjoying the family bonding. I love being blessed with that gift of just being about to call a complete stanger in your family and saying hi im your family how are you? and hope they want to talk....haha. And if they dont thats ok. I love grandparents! All i have left down here is my grandfathers. And up there and my grandma to talk too,and them to watch me and my mistakes, uh oh?! better me good....haha. I miss both of grandmothers. There laughs and smiles and visiting them. there smells when i was around them. There sweetness! Can't wait to get on with this family history book, I barely started, definlty need more info......

What Im up too...lately....

Its hot and I hate it! Over 100 degrees wishing it was back to the 80's, at least. But o'well.
Now a days, Im working on a family history book, and to be presenting it at a family reunion here in 2 years. I found 2 books on the internet and got them at a library and boy they are so delicate and from another state. There like ,together, 800 pages full of pictures, birthdates, stories and much more. ugh! (lots of typing) If i were to buy them one is like 150 dollars and the other is 60dollars. I figured I see what i can do what them first. The family side im working on in the book is my moms mom side and here family is from kentucky, a big catholic bunch. Im excitied, i love my family!
Steve is back at school and has one year to go,hooray! Im still at work, the grocery store. Only for a year and then our little baby making process begins ( and im excitied) My dad has got his cancer removed off his back (well almost), he has to go back and get more removed, it was a mild kind. he has another too forming. Moms doing good. Shes moving back out of dads house here soon into her own place. (maybe she will get a cat, oh wait im allergic, darn) I finally got my friends cats kittens out to homes, that was fun! Steve and I was out at disneyland, again, a couple weeks ago. And some retarded bug bite me and i had an allergic reaction to it, and i hived out. I couldnt enjoy the beach and lay out the next day out huntington beach. (although we did eat out there and take pictures, better than nothing) I sleeped and took benedryl on the way back. Damn itches! of coarse i went to docter is anyone was worried......they gave me a benedryl shot and a nasty chalky pill that im too the end of taking. Poor Aunt Connie put one of her cats to sleep, 15years old, Nikki. so sad. I called her but she hasnt picked up. i need to give her a call again. I also got my hair dyed or highlights blonde streaks. I havent done anything with that in a long time since 16yrs old. so thats the update, hope you had fun reading! :)

My End Rusult

So I decided to not quit my job....hooray!! Something told me not to quit and I didn't.


Well I went and delivered my baskets. I never did get up to the 150baskets like I thought. Heres where i ended up at.....10 water baskets.....15 paperbags baskets ..... and 12 baggies. All filled up with pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, candy, an egg, a poem with hairband wrapped around it and ball squishie with they fill up with water. They also got 2 sets of 36 pads for the girls as well as bracelets, we had my mom and 2 girls in church help make a total of 65 bracelets and maybe a necklace or two. Also 4 sets of granola bars, 12 in each with leftover candy pencils, and pens that didn't make it in the bags. Napkins donated and 4 waxed shoe laces. And lets not forget we also had 2 ladys who helped out on basketmaking. thanks to them.




I also went SafeNest. Donated coloring pages, crayons, and hairties to wrap the color pages with, tissues, and about 25 of plastic animals. Stickers also.

All I keep thinking is....

the Big Love series they just played last week. I want to do something, i wanted to tell the whole world but i can't so all i could do was copy and paste what the church said and let people read it for themselves. i hope my friends read it! if your mormon you know what i am saying, im sorry its sacred thing can't say much more. i was on a service week last week. i guess i asked for it. i learned what apostasy means again....i knew what it meant but now i know again, deeper...hehe.

So i only have 15 water bottle baskets.... the girls i have given the jewelry kits too i will in the future hand those back out in the baskets. later in the year sometime i will be making more baskets. i will be quitting my job here soon in a few weeks...but am still looking forward to still handing out more of those baskets out.

So latest news....trip and all...

So my husband and I have took a trip up to San Deigo to see the zoo....how fun was that! I loved the gorilla's, giraffes, and elephants. Especially the gorilla in the middle of the rock picking his nose...ew! The next day we went whale looking on a boat. First we saw two dolpins for 2 seconds and then the next thing i heard from around me was bets that we weren't going to see any whales. the last minute we saw some grey whales. they were pretty! i would definitely do it again! And of coarse we saw old town san deigo. that was cool! i always like to see that. love the school house and how they punish the kids. dirty finger nails...a couple slashes..weird huh?.... we ate at the mexican restarant near by. the morning before we left we ate breakfast on the beach. we took a walk down the sidewalk and heard the waves unlike the jets near here. lol.

So I have decided to go school next year (when im 24) but not get fully into it until the kids come and they are in school. just to start. im thinking art will be the first class. steve is doing good. he has gotton all a's and b's this past semester. and he has more to come. he grad's next may (not this may). yesterday i took my first professional driving lesson. overhand driving stinks! i hate it! we drove around houses for the 2 hours, near the neighborhood, how fun....

im donating and i can't wait...

So before christmas I had helped my roommate sister make water bottle baskets. She had taught how to make them. While I was there I told her "i have always wanted to donate like this". So I am starting a water bottle basket making process and will be handing them out. im so excitied! theres so many places.... I want to give to those who are needed the most and who are less noticable. you get it? my idea's are between street teens and spirit therapies. i gave street teens a call. im waiting for a reply. spirit therapies are still stuck in my mind. But for those who are older and who less capable of doing things, i would need to change my stuff of handing out things a little diffent, like pillows would be something. I would like to figure something to hand out for the older less cableable teens at spirit therapies, i just have to figure something out, like the ones in the wheelchairs. It would probably be a july 4th deal but thats okay.

Well Well.... a New Year!

Well the way i started the new year i was kissing my husband (in salt lake city celebrating with my husbands best friend jonathon) and stuff like confetti landed all over my face. As for my husband it landed in his mouth...haha. j/k no really. lol. we were on the dance floor dance to the last few songs or 10 and After a few hours of sleep we went down to the salt lake temple to see what the snow was like all around. so pretty! what can you say.....awww! later went to park city and threw snow balls at each other. how fun was that! scray to say on the home we had a snow delay of 2hours.... first 'snow' delay for me. i thought it was cool. not really but it was interesting.
